The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s of Science in Nursing, have at least three years of OB nursing bedside experience, and maintain Texas RN licensure. Evening and weekend availability, plus campus-based teaching, are expected.

Qualifications

• Master's of Science in Nursing required.
• Three years OB nursing experience required.
• Current unencumbered RN license in Texas.
• SACSCOC standards compliance may apply to courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach ADN program courses to a multicultural student population based on department learning outcomes.
• Evaluate student progress and provide timely, clear feedback.
• Provide mentoring and teaching that does not discriminate on protected characteristics.
• Remain current in the field through professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by department chair or dean.
• Participate in simulation activities, labs, and mastery checks.
• Evening/night shifts and Saturdays may be required.
