Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby and NICU units in Butte, Montana. The role is full-time with primarily night shifts and occasional days to meet staffing needs.

The RN will assess and plan patient care, coordinate with the health team, and ensure documentation and guideline adherence. Prior OB/NICU/L&D experience is preferred; BSN is required within 4 years unless long tenure in acute care applies.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana RN License required.
• BLS Certification on hire is required.
• PALS within 9 months of hire/transfer.
• NRP within 12 months of hire.
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' physical and psychological needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
