Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery in Montana. The role involves assessing and planning patient care, coordinating with the health team, and overseeing care delivered by LPNs/CNAs. The position is full-time with mostly night shifts and some day shifts as needed. Acute obstetric experience and Montana licensure are important for success in this unit.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• ASN/ADN holders employed before 2014 are exempt from the BSN requirement.
• Any nurse hired from 2014 through 2019 has 5 years to obtain a BSN.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• PALS required within 9 months of hire / transfer.
• NRP/Neonatal Resuscitation required within 12 months of hire.
• AHWONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months of hire.
• Preferred: National Certification in area of practice.

• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
