Job summary

BB Imaging in Ocala, FL is looking for experienced MFM/OB Sonographers for full-time, PRN, or relocation opportunities. You’ll join a sonographer-led team that values People First, Quality Always and delivers compassionate OB/MFM ultrasound care.

You’ll perform procedures, travel to clinic sites, review patient charts, and create reports for physicians. The role supports CME growth and offers relocation assistance for the right fit.

Qualifications

• 2+ years high-risk OB and/or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures
• Travel to clinic sites within your assigned area
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule-out patient/fetus anomalies
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis
• Communicate machine errors or needs to maintain quality machines and imagery
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs
• Other duties assigned by managers

What You'll Do

Is This You?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• 2+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

Do You Score Any Bonus Points?

• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
