Job summary

Premier Health seeks an OB Laborist at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, for 12- or 24-hour shifts. The Laborist will manage inpatients, triage patients, document progress notes, and support obstetrical services within the PPN practice.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required for obstetric practice.
• US citizen or permanent resident status mentioned in requirements.
• Experience in a busy obstetrical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acting attending on call during designated times and manage OB admissions.
• Deliveries without the primary physician present and manage inpatients.
• Respond to emergencies, including cesarean sections when needed.
• Triage OB patients, document progress notes and billing for providers.
• Complete H&P on admission and obtain consent for care.
• Stabilize and manage obstetric patients in ED and postpartum areas.
