Job summary

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for per diem/day shift. You will perform ultrasound examinations following physicians' orders and use a range of ultrasound equipment to ensure accurate imaging while considering patient needs and age-related considerations.

The role requires ARDMS eligibility, BLS, and timely certification milestones; new grads must obtain ARDMS within 6 months and secure the OBMI license pathway as required.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.
• Oregon Sonographer license or Oregon Sonographer Temporary on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association on hire.
• New graduates must be board eligible and obtain ARDMS within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders.
• Uses ultrasound equipment and considers individual patient needs and age-related considerations.
