Job summary

OhioHealth Mansfield OBGYN is seeking an Ultrasonographer to work one day per week, with occasional two-day coverage, and travel to Lexington and Shelby locations as needed. The role performs ultrasound examinations and discusses findings with radiologists to aid diagnosis.

Requirements include ARDMS, ARRT, RDMS, and BLS certifications, with 1-2 years ultrasound training. Day shift; 8 scheduled hours; on-site at OBGYN Mansfield, with potential travel between offices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 yrs ultrasound training from an accredited program.
• Must have passed ARDMS.
• Must have passed abdominal or OB/GYN and physics/instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs various ultrasound examinations with knowledge of anatomy and physics.
• Independently evaluates normal vs abnormal results in context of history and prior exams.
• Provides preliminary ultrasound results to physicians, surgeons, and residents.
• Teaches imaging students and residents in scanning methods.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and performs quality control.
