Responsibilities

• Greets patients and verifies physician orders.
• Acquires ultrasound images per established protocols.
• Explains procedures to patients and reduces anxiety.
• Reviews images and communicates findings to the physician.
• Maintains high production and quality standards for ultrasound exams.
• Ensures a safe and healthy work environment.
• Documents ultrasound services in patient records.
• Participates in radiology process improvement initiatives.
