Job summary

Together Women’s Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician to join our care team in Michigan. The role involves acquiring ultrasound images for diagnostic use and contributing to patient-centered care aligned with our mission and policies.

Responsibilities include patient greeting, order verification, imaging procedures explanation, image review, and chart documentation. ARDMS certification and OB/GYN experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
• ARDMS certified and in good standing.
• Experience in OB/GYN imaging helpful.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Greets all patients courteously and ensures their needs are met.
• Reviews patient identification and verifies physician order.
• Gains patient cooperation by explaining imaging procedures and equipment.
• Reviews images and communicates data to physician.
• Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following standards.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
• Documents patient ultrasound services in the chart.
• Participates in process improvement within radiology.
