Job summary

Qualifications

Graduate of approved Ultrasound School.
A minimum of 2 years training in Allied Health/College.
A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in OB/GYN ultrasound.
Knowledge of ultrasound equipment, their function and operation of each control.
Understanding of equipment and computer systems and procedures for equipment service.
Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
Knowledge of safety, infection and disaster policy, including emergency care.
Ability to cover weekends on rotation (roughly once every six weeks).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge to aid in invasive fetal procedures with MFM specialists.

Responsibilities

Performs Anatomy and Physiology exams of fetuses of all gestational ages including Level II scans, 3D scans and Doppler studies.
Assists in procedures such as Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Sampling, and fetal reductions; performs Gyn U/S exams.
