Job summary

UnityPoint Health's Clive OB/GYN clinic is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy women’s health team. The RN will provide clinical support across pregnancy, gynecologic care, and surgical services, triage concerns, and educate patients while coordinating with physicians and APNs.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, ADN (BSN preferred), and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or compact license.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in OB/GYN, women's health, labor & delivery, or specialty care is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• May be required to float to other UnityPoint Clinic locations to support staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient calls and electronic messages to assess symptoms and determine next steps.
• Provide telephone triage for obstetric and gynecologic concerns and coordinate follow-up care.
• Coordinate care for pregnancy, gynecologic treatments, procedures, and surgeries.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure timely, high-quality care.
• Educate patients on prenatal care, gynecologic conditions, medications, and preventive health.
