Job summary

Aurora Health Care’s West Allis OB/GYN Clinic is seeking an Experienced OB/GYN Sonographer to join the Women’s Health team on a Full‑Time weekday schedule. This role features no weekends, call or holidays, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus with full benefits starting on day one.

You will perform OB/GYN ultrasound exams, operate imaging equipment, review orders, ensure accurate labeling and documentation, and contribute to quality initiatives while mentoring staff and collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes an accredited or approved program in Sonography.
• ARDMS RDMS Abdomen and RDMS OB/GYN registrations are preferred or required per department.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs OB/GYN ultrasound exams and communicates results to the interpreting physician.
• Operates ultrasound equipment and differentiates normal vs. pathologic findings.
• Reviews patient history, orders, and ensures exam accuracy with correct labeling of images.
• Maintains records per regulations and documents billing codes for procedures.
• Acts as a resource and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
