Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. The position emphasizes high standards of patient care, effective communication, and collaborative teamwork within an OB/GYN and Women\u2019s Health focused setting.

The RN will provide higher level clinical support, adhere to nursing standards, and support care teams using electronic systems and standard tools.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Connecticut RN license required.
• 3-4 years of related clinical and/or hospital experience; OB/GYN, Women\u2019s Health, L&D, Maternity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively
• Excellent Communicator: Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members
• Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
• Technical Familiarity: Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork
