Job summary

Valley Health System in Ridgewood, NJ seeks a Supervisory/Management professional to oversee daily operations and supervise staff within the physician services practices, reporting to the Director of Physician Services. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and operational oversight.

Experience in physician practice management is preferred; a two-year supervisory background is desirable. The position offers benefits and day shifts, with salary aligned to role and licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or healthcare related field. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience in a physician’s practice preferred. Previous experience in a physician’s management practice setting and demonstrated working knowledge of the operations of medical practice required
• Membership and certification in a national physician practice management association is encouraged.
• Strong communication, interaction, customer service, and organization skills required.
• Proven critical thinking, problem-resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Computer literacy in a Windows-based environment; knowledge of word-processing and database management applications (Microsoft Office, Meditech, ACT!).
• Ability to maintain a high functioning team and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and supervision of staff within the applicable Practice under the Dir, Physician Services.
• Partner with leadership to ensure high quality, cost-effective, and comprehensive medical care.
