Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/eligible OB/GYN to join our team in Akron, Ohio. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a large multi-specialty group employed by Summa Health System.

The Akron campus features a Level III, 22-bed NICU and an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, with Epic EMR in use. This offers excellent work/life balance and opportunities for teaching residents alongside a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or license in process.
• Willingness to work in Akron and surrounding communities.
• Comfortable teaching and working with residents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN patient care within Summa Health Medical Group.
• Collaborate with midlevel providers and NICU teams.
• Engage in resident teaching and education.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and coordination of care.
