Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks a Board-eligible or Board-certified OB/GYN physician for a high-volume practice in Peoria, Illinois. The role includes obstetric and gynecologic care with access to ultrasound, Colposcopy, LEEP, and stress testing at the clinic, and antepartum/acute care at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

OSF is a major teaching affiliate with a Level I trauma center. The position offers a strong compensation package with generous benefits and professional growth within a multi-specialty

Qualifications

• Doctorate in medicine and licensed to practice in Illinois.
• Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
• Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid participation.
• MD/DO must maintain medical staff membership and privileges.
• Licensed by the DEA and Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Great opportunity for either a seasoned Board-Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician, or a newly trained Board Eligible Physician

• 1:5 Call


• Ultrasound, Colposcopy, LEEP procedures, and Stress Testing onsite at the clinic.


• Antepartum and Acute Care at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, the sixth-largest medical center in Illinois. A major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria, OSF Saint Francis is the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center and tertiary care medical center.


• Providers perform approximately 2,300 deliveries a year at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.


• Level IV NICU and Level III Nursery, and Pediatric specialists and hospitalists offer high-level care for the tiniest patients in-house at OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $437,000-$500,000.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.


• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.


• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal heath programs.


• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.


• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
