OSF HealthCare Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL, affiliated with UICOMP, offers a 4-year categorical anesthesiology residency with approval for 32 residents. We welcome graduating residents, fellows, and experienced anesthesiologists; part-time positions are available.

Leadership opportunities may be available; few CRNA supervision roles. Subspecialty training in pediatrics, cardio-thoracic, critical care and pain is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in the current state.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (ABA).
• Eligible to prescribe narcotics under federal and state laws.

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

• The Department of Anesthesiology at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC) an affiliate of University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP)
• OSF SFMC and UICOMP started a 4-year categorical residency program in July of 2024 with approval for 32 Residents
• Willing to entertain graduating residents and fellows as well as experienced anesthesiologists
• Part time available
• Faculty positions rarely supervise CRNAs.
• Will entertain candidates with subspecialty training for Pediatrics, Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic, Pediatric CV, Critical Care and Pain
• H-1B Eligible Site
• Potential for leadership opportunities
• 3 weeks on, 1 week off with only two 16-hour call shifts during the three-working week.One call is in-house, and the other is taken from home. Post-call days are off.

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $650,000-$700,000.

Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligiblein Anesthesiology (ABA). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
• Fellowship training is not required but all fellowship trained physicians are encouraged to apply
• New graduate to experienced Anesthesiologists are encouraged to apply
