Job summary

MaineGeneral Health in Augusta, ME is seeking a full-spectrum OB/GYN to join our well-established practice, with a satellite location in Waterville and operating room time available. You will join an experienced care team delivering a wide range of women's health services in the Kennebec Valley.

The role blends collaborative medical care with a high quality of life in Maine. Responsibilities include routine gynecology, obstetric care including high-risk pregnancies, surgeries with a Da Vinci

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in Maine.
• Strong collaborative skills to work within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine women's health and gynecology care including in-office procedures.
• Deliver obstetric care for routine and high-risk pregnancies; support Level II NICU.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures with access to Da Vinci robot.
• Teach and collaborate with residents to advance medical training.
• Manage a schedule of 32 clinical hours plus an 8-hour administrative day weekly.
• Participate in a balanced on-call rotation (1:8).

Core Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Clinical Care : Provide routine women's health and GYN care, including specialized in-office procedures.
• Obstetric Excellence : Deliver state-of-the-art obstetric care for both routine pregnancies and high-risk conditions. Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
• Surgical Care : Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures with access to Da Vinci surgical robot.
• Academic Engagement : Work collaboratively with residents to support the next generation of medical professionals in our community.
• Schedule : 32 clinical hours and a dedicated 8 hour administrative day each week.
• Balanced On-Call Rotation : Participate in a highly-manageable 1:8 call schedule.

Requirements
