Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center seeks an OB/GYN physician to join a well-established practice with a satellite site in Waterville, ME. The role includes providing comprehensive women's health, obstetric care, and surgical procedures with robotic assistance, in a supportive team environment.

The position offers 32 clinical hours plus an 8-hour administrative day weekly, with a manageable 1:8 on-call rotation. Fellowship opportunities and academic engagement with residents are available.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Eligible for an active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Maine.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine women's health and GYN care.
• Deliver obstetric care for routine and high-risk pregnancies, with Level II NICU access.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures with robotic assistance where available.
• Collaborate with residents to support medical education.
• Manage a schedule of 32 clinical hours and an 8-hour administrative day weekly.
• Participate in a balanced 1:8 on-call rotation.
