University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH) is seeking a full-time OB/GYN physician to join a small employed group. The practice includes obstetrics and gynecology with comprehensive hospital support and in-house OB hospitalists.

The role features a high-volume delivery service, strong administrative and clinical support, and eligible sign-on/relocation options. Bel Air, Maryland offers a balanced lifestyle in a welcoming community.

Qualifications

• License to practice medicine in the state of Maryland.
• Board eligible or board certified (BE/BC) in obstetrics/gynecology.

Responsabilités

• Generalist obstetrics/gynecology practice with hospital support.
• 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist coverage.
• Hospital handles ~1,400 deliveries per year; 14 LDRP rooms.
• Elbow-to-elbow EPIC support and strong clinic backing.

Job Description

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health, a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has an opening available for a full‑time OB/GYN physician.

Job Specifics

• Employed group comprised of two OB/GYN physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. Seeking a third physician to meet growing volumes.
• Generalist scope of practice includes mix of obstetrics and gynecology
• Service supported by 24/7 in house OB hospitalist coverage
• Hospital performs 1400 deliveries per year on average; unit includes 14 labor, delivery, recovery, and post‑partum rooms
• Level II nursey covered by 24/7 pediatric hospitalists
• Work/life balance supported by very limited call arrangement
• Excellent hospital administration support as well as in office support staff
• Elbow to elbow EPIC support
• Position eligible for sign‑on bonus and relocation support
