Job summary

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited program.
• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon without restriction.
• Completion of an ACGME OB/GYN residency program.
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration certificate.
• Medical staff membership and clinical privileges in Obstetrics/Gynecology as determined by WHA.
• Meets criteria for participating physicians in WHA health plans and government programs.
• Insurable by malpractice carrier for WHA in minimum amounts required by WHA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology care with compassion.
• Build and sustain a patient panel aligned with assigned FTE.
• Perform office-based and surgery center-based procedures within licensure.
• Assess patient needs, gather and analyze clinical data, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong listening, oral, and written communication with patients, families, colleagues, and staff.
• Maintain board certification and continuing education, and participate in privileging and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend required meetings, support WHA objectives, and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Model WHA's values, demonstrate safe work practices, and maintain professional conduct.
• Demonstrate reliability and adaptability and respond effectively to emergencies or changes in workload.
