Job summary

Womens Healthcare Associates, LLC in Hillsboro, Oregon, is seeking an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist to provide comprehensive medical and surgical care in a patient-centered environment. You will deliver high-quality obstetrics/gynecology services both inpatient and outpatient, in line with applicable guidelines.

The role requires board certification/eligibility in OB/GYN, an Oregon medical license, and completion of an ACGME residency.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited program.
• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• Oregon medical license without restrictions.
• Completed ACGME OB/GYN residency program.
• Valid DEA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology care, including preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical services.
• Build and sustain a patient panel consistent with assigned FTE status.
• Perform procedures within scope of licensure with sound judgment and skill.
• Assess patient needs, gather and analyze data, develop treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong listening and communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Participate in privileging, recertification, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support WHA performance objectives.
• Model WHA values and maintain professional conduct.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or workload changes.

Education

Medical degree from an accredited program

Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology

Licensed to practice medicine in Oregon without restriction

ACGME OB/GYN residency completed

Valid Drug Enforcement Administration certificate

Medical staff membership and clinical privileges in OB/GYN at WHA

Job Location: HB - Hillsboro, OR 97124

This position is responsible for providing comprehensive patient medical and surgical care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and quality. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with guidelines and standards of practice established by the Chief Medical Officer and WHA, The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners.

• Provide high-quality patient care by delivering compassionate, patient-centered inpatient and outpatient obstetrics/gynecology, including preventive, diagnostic, medical, and surgical care.
• Build and sustain a patient panel consistent with assigned FTE status.
• Perform office based and surgery center-based procedures within scope of licensure, exercising sound judgment, technical skill, and adaptability in clinical setting.
• Apply Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving by assessing patient needs, gather and analyze clinical data, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes while maintaining focus under varying conditions.
• Demonstrate strong listening, oral, and written communication skills with patients, families, colleagues, and staff.
• Maintain board certification, complete continuing education and continuous learning, and participate in privileging, recertification, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues, attend required meetings, support WHA performance objectives, and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Model WHA’s values, demonstrate safe work practices, resolve conflicts constructively, and maintain conduct that reflects positively on the organization and community.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME OB/GYN residency program.
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration certificate.
• Medical staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges, in the judgment of WHA, in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• Meets all criteria required of participating physicians in health plans and government health programs designated by WHA.
• Insurable by malpractice carrier for WHA in minimum amounts required by WHA.
