Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta and Waterville, Maine, seeks a surgical Nurse Practitioner to join our OB/GYN team. This full-time role blends operating room first-assist duties with inpatient rounding and strong outpatient clinic support, providing comprehensive patient care across the surgical journey.

You will collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, certified nurse midwives, and multidisciplinary staff to deliver seamless maternal care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NP or PA program eligible for Maine licensure.
• National NP/PA certification; Surgical First Assist preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of surgical first-assist experience with OB/GYN or general surgery focus.

Responsibilities

• Surgical first assisting for OB/GYN procedures.
• Pre- & Post-operative office support and assessments.
• Inpatient rounds and care coordination.
• Collaborative care with OB/GYN physicians and staff.
