Job summary

MaineHealth – Waldo Hospital and Pen Bay Hospital are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our regional Women’s Health practice serving the Mid Coast Maine communities of Belfast and Rockport.

You will join a collaborative team of five full-time OB/GYNs and support staff, with Robotic surgery available and a fully integrated Epic EMR. The role offers opportunities in full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology in a coastal community.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Active and unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care to patients.
• Collaborate with CNMs and nursing staff for coordinated care.
• Manage obstetric and gynecology needs within a regional Women’s Health program.
• Participate in a call schedule of 1 in 5, with potential home-based calls.

MaineHealth - Waldo Hospital and Pen Bay Hospital are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join our regional Women's Health practice serving the Mid Coast Maine communities of Belfast and Rockport.

This is a rare opportunity to join an established and highly collaborative practice that is recruiting its final physician to complete a team of five full time OB/GYNs, supported by a full complement of Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and an experienced clinical staff.

We welcome both experienced physicians and new graduates who are excited to practice full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology.

MaineHealth Women’s Health Practice

MaineHealth - Waldo and Pen Bay Hospitals are seeking a board certified/eligible OBGYN Physician. The successful candidate will join the regional Women’s Health practice serving our coastal Maine communities. Candidates will work alongside great support staff and seasoned providers. Join us and you will also find supportive, collaborative colleagues; strong patient/provider relationships; comprehensive resources and advanced technologies, including fully integrated Epic EMR.

The regional Women’s Health office provides pregnancy care, conceptual and infertility counseling, care during and after pregnancy, gynecologic care such as treatment for abnormal bleeding, fibroids endometriosis.

Our team also provides family planning services including birth control counseling and prescriptions. We offer preventive care including annual physical exams, screening for breast and cervical cancer, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections and breast care. We also provide services for menstrual problems, perimenopause and menopause treatment, breastfeeding support, incontinence treatment and sexual health counseling.
