Ascension Medical Group seeks a Board Certified OB/GYN for a rural practice in Winchester, Indiana. The role includes a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule with call coverage shared with a midwife team, including weekend rotation, in collaboration with a nearby hospital.

The position joins 1 OB/GYN and 1 Certified Nurse Midwife in a facility shared with St. Vincent Randolph. Sunrise EMR and level 1 nursery support are noted, with opportunities for growth and continued education.

Qualifications

• Board Certified OB/GYN required.
• Indiana license prior to hire preferred.
• Rural practice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inherit established patient base in Winchester, IN and provide OB/GYN services.
• Collaborate with CNM (Certified Nurse Midwife) and provide midwife back-up as needed.
• Share call coverage with other physicians as outlined by the practice.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

Ascension Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN for our facilities in Winchester, Indiana. This opening is for our rural practice in need of an experienced and energetic Physician ready to inherit an established patient base with the opportunity to grow. This candidate would also provide services in our neighboring hospital ( St. Vincent Randolph ) when necessary.

Position Highlights:

• Level 1 nursery (approx. 225 deliveries per year)

• Average patient volume is 15-18 pts/day (outpatient)

• MD has 1 dedicated surgery day per week

• Critical Access Hospital

• Practice is located in the same building as the Family Practitioners

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
