Job summary

Chase Brexton Health Care in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible obstetrician-gynecologist to provide outpatient Ob/Gyn services as part of a collaborative practice model. The full-time position requires an MD or DO, successful completion of an approved Ob/Gyn residency, a Maryland medical license, current DEA and CDS registrations, and the ability to be insured for malpractice.

• Provide a collaborative resource for certified nurse midwives and other providers in the department.
• Provide appropriate outpatient care for obstetrical and gynecologic patients.

JOB SUMMARY:

Full time position for Board certified or Board eligible generalist Obstetrician-Gynecologist providing outpatient Ob/Gyn services. Provider will work as part of a collaborative model Ob/Gyn practice.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communication

• Participate in Departmental initiatives and quality care projects as appropriate.
• Participate in Organizational initiatives and quality care projects as appropriate.

Teamwork

• Provide a collaborative resource for certified nurse midwives working in the Department.
• Provide a collaborative resource for non-Ob/Gyn providers working in the Department.

Patient Care

• Provide appropriate outpatient care for patients needing obstetrical and gynecologic care.

SKIILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills in reference to team members and patients

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• M.D. or D.O.degree
• Evidence of graduation from approved Ob/Gyn Residency Program
• Current licensure from State of Maryland
• Current DEA & CDS licenses
• Ability to be insured for malpractice insurance
• Have skill and experience in both outpatient and inpatient obstetrical care
• Have skill and experience in both outpatient and inpatient gynecologic care
