Job summary

Success Education Colleges seeks an Adjunct Clinical Instructor – OB/GYN to supervise nursing students in maternal-newborn and women’s health settings. You will ensure safe clinical practice, guide hands-on patient care, and evaluate performance according to program objectives.

The role requires RN licensure, a master’s degree preferred (BSN may be accepted), and prior OB/GYN experience. You will collaborate with clinical sites and foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• MSN preferred; BSN may be accepted based on program and regulatory requirements.
• Current, active RN licensed in the applicable state.
• Min 3 years of OB/GYN, labor and delivery, maternal-newborn, or women's health nursing in last 5 years.
• Teaching/precepting experience preferred but not required.
• Competent in labor and delivery, postpartum and newborn care, maternal/fetal assessment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for instruction and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct nursing students during OB/GYN clinical rotations.
• Guide students in safe, competent, patient-centered obstetric and neonatal care.
• Facilitate clinical learning experiences in prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum, newborn care.
• Ensure adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Evaluate student performance through direct observation, skills assessments, and documentation.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support skill development and clinical judgment.
• Coordinate with clinical site staff and communicate expectations to students.
• Mentor students to develop confidence and clinical decision-making.
