Job summary

Success Education Colleges seeks an Adjunct Clinical Instructor – OB/GYN to supervise nursing students in obstetric and newborn care settings. You will guide students in applying nursing knowledge to direct patient care, evaluate performance, and ensure safe clinical practice.

Responsibilities include coordinating with clinical sites, providing timely feedback, and maintaining records. Requires MSN preferred; RN license in the appropriate state and 3+ years OB/GYN experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred; BSN may be accepted.
• Current, active RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 3 years OB/GYN, maternal-newborn, or women’s health experience in last 5 years.
• Teaching/precepting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and instruct nursing students during OB/GYN clinical rotations.
• Guide students in providing safe, patient-centered care to obstetric and neonatal patients.
• Facilitate clinical learning experiences in prenatal care; labor and delivery; postpartum; newborn care; women's health.
• Evaluate student performance through direct observation, skills assessments and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance and competencies.
• Coordinate with clinical site staff; communicate expectations and assignments.
• Mentor and support students; foster a positive, inclusive clinical learning environment.
