Job summary

Qualifications
- RN with Nurse-Midwife certification and state licensure.
- Experience in obstetric care and labor/delivery settings.
- Ability to educate patients and families on perinatal care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates need for and orders laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Reviews prenatal records and interprets results for patient care.
- Participates in labor, delivery, postpartum rounds, and discharge planning.
- Supervises nurse-midwifery students during clinical rotations.
- Collaborates with physicians and other staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Engages in performance improvement and continuing education.
