NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens is seeking a Technician Medical Surgical for OB/GYN Services in Queens. The full-time, day-shift position supports clinicians in patient education, blood draws, vital signs, and clerical tasks across NYP Queens Medical Group locations.

The ideal candidate has MA training, MA certification, BLS, and at least one year of outpatient experience. On-site role with potential travel within NYP Queens. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA) preferred and BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Educate and prepare patients for procedures, review preparation instructions and ensure patient understanding.
• Observe patients and document conditions, report any abnormalities.
• Measure and record height, weight, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Draw blood and collect specimens as directed.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and maintain sterile field.
• Maintain stock and clerical supplies in examination and drawing rooms.
• Perform clerical and secretarial tasks as needed; interact with patients and staff with service excellence.
