Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Business Services Representative – OB/GYN to join a busy women’s health practice in Connecticut. This front-desk role greets patients, schedules appointments, checks in/out, verifies insurance, and collects copays while supporting providers with administrative tasks.

Travel to Rocky Hill, Vernon and Enfield sites may be required. Experience in medical offices and Microsoft Office is preferred. Day shifts with strong benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills.
• Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products.
• Accuracy and dependability required.

Responsabilités

• Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
