Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and 1+ year medical billing/revenue cycle experience.
• Preferred associate degree in Medical Billing, HIM, or Healthcare Administration.
• Certifications such as CPB, CPC, or CCA are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit electronic and paper claims to various payers.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics prior to submission.
• Post insurance and patient payments into the practice management system.
