Job summary

Blanchard Valley Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in office and lab procedures, perform phlebotomy and point-of-care testing, and provide patient-centered care in Findlay, Ohio. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Cross-train to other BVMP practices as needed.
• Adhere to BVHS privacy policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of age-appropriate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily patient and provider flow.
• Assist Physician with patient care as required.
• Prepare exam rooms and set up clinical areas.
• Follow directions from the provider and leadership.
• Conduct phlebotomy and point of care testing as needed.
• Accurately complete the registration process.
• Chart documentation.
• Use clinical and clerical skills effectively.
• Enhance our patients experience and uphold BVHS mission, vision and values.
• Willingness to participate in process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
