Advocate Medical Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support the obstetrics/gynecology care team. The role involves vital signs, patient prep, and helping providers during exams in a fast-paced clinic.

Candidates must have a MA diploma or 2 years MA experience (or be certified MA) and are encouraged to bring bilingual Spanish/English skills. Shifts are 3 eight-hour days Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have a medical assistant diploma or 2 years medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience, to qualify.
• Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.
• OB/GYN experience highly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
