Job summary

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) in Chicago, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for the OB/GYN/Urogynecology department. This full-time role requires OB/GYN experience and bilingual Spanish/English proficiency, with 40 hours per week and Monday–Friday days.

Responsibilities include patient support, vital signs, exam prep, vaccinations, lab tasks, and EHR documentation while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 yrs MA experience, or MA certification with 2 yrs experience.
• OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon-Fri Days with early start times.
• Welcome patients and support transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs and health histories.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the EHR and collaborate with care team.
