Job summary

Columbus Regional Health Physicians LLC in Columbus, IN, seeks a Medical Assistant for a full-time, on-site role (36 hours/week). You will support a busy OB-GYN practice across three locations and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a credentialing test.
• Certification or Registration as a medical assistant through a recognized organization such as AAMA/AMT/CAAHEP/NHA, etc.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Back-office duties and preparing patients for exams.
• Take and record basic medical history.
• Assist physicians and nurses as needed.
• Travel to Columbus, North Vernon, and Greensburg locations as required.
