Legacy For Women OBGYN in Henderson, NV is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join a thriving community practice. You will assist providers with patient care, examinations, and procedures, and manage histories, vital signs, and room preparation.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certification with at least 2 years of experience, and experience in OB/GYN is preferred. Strong EHR skills (AthenaOne) and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification with minimum 2 years' experience.
• Ob/Gyn experience preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and EHR (AthenaOne preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers in patient care, examinations, and procedures.
• Obtain accurate patient histories and vital signs.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and supply availability.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and prenatal care.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining records.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers for referrals and follow-up care.
