Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certificate or training in CMA/RMA preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and policies.
• Performs rooming tasks: vitals, med reconciliation, history, screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs venipuncture and lab duties; tracks results per CLIA.
• Administers medications and vaccines following medication rights.
• Maintains clean environment and supports scheduling, referrals and communications.
