Qualifications

• Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program with 330 clock hours.
• Current certification from AAMA/NCCT/AMCA/NAHP/NCMA or AMT, or other recognized certifying body.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination, take vital signs and review history.
• Perform electrocardiograms and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Handle clerical duties: patient registration, scheduling, medical records and discharge paperwork; coordinate with front desk and staff.
