Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Medical Assistant for the 40-hour week, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a pay range of $22.90–$34.35 per hour. Ideal candidates have two years of clinical MA experience, HS diploma, and BLS certification, plus CMA/RMA certification eligibility.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Proficient in vital signs, medication reconciliation, and patient history taking.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks including vital signs, history taking, and screenings.
• Assists provider with procedures and lab duties including venipuncture and POCT.
• Maintains clean, stocked work areas and proper equipment handling.
