Job summary

Atrium Health's GCMG Eastover OBGYN clinic in Charlotte, NC seeks a Medical Assistant to support obstetrics/gynecology care. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm, with a sign-on bonus eligible based on eligibility.

Salary ranges from $21.85 to $32.80 per hour, commensurate with experience. Requires MA training and BLS certification per site standards; duties include patient rooming, vital signs, drawing labs, and assisting clinicians while maintaining quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or DD214 in lieu of formal MA program.
• Willingness to obtain BLS where required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Medical Assistant scope of practice and follows policies.
• Performs rooming/visit tasks including vitals, history, screenings and health maintenance.
• Assists provider with procedures as ordered.
• Performs lab duties including venipuncture, specimen handling, POCT per orders, and CLIA-waived tests.
