Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and escorts to exam rooms; records vital signs and medical history.
• Assists physicians with exams and minor procedures; prepares sterile supplies.
• Orders and stocks supplies; checks medication expiration dates.
• Maintains patient charts and demographic data.
• Schedules appointments and referrals; pre-certifies admissions and procedures; coordinates with other physicians.
• Performs general clerical duties and supports clinic staff.
• Handles prescription inquiries and phone requests; supports CPT/ICD-10 coding and billing tasks.
