Job summary

Aurora Medical Group (AMG) in Hazel Crest, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team in OB/GYN. You will perform clinical and administrative tasks, take vitals, assist with exams, and document care in the EHR to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

The role requires a Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or current MA certification, with OB/GYN or women's health clinic experience preferred. Travel to nearby locations is part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or be a certified MA with 2 years MA experience.
• Prior OB or Women’s Health clinic experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Travel to Orland Park, Frankfort, & South Holland locations as schedule requires.
