Job summary

Aurora Obstetrics & Gynecology - Franklin clinic is seeking Medical Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse staff to support OB/GYN care across two clinics. The team will cover providers, perform vital tasks, and ensure a compassionate patient experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required within 45 days.
• GED or HS equivalency diploma.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of verifiable MA experience.
• LPN training with a state license is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Assist providers during exams and procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and teammates for coordinated care.
