Job summary

HCA HealthONE Premier OB/GYN is seeking a Clinical Medical Assistant to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. The role supports a dedicated team with patient-focused service in a full-time daytime schedule.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Medical Assisting experience, a current Medical Assistant Certification, and the ability to obtain certification within 60 days if recently graduated.

Qualifications

• One year of Medical Assisting or direct clinical patient care experience.
• Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, NCRMA acceptable).
• Recent grads must obtain certification within 60 days of employment or within one year of hire if already employed.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and cancel patient appointments.
• Check-in and check-out patients.
• Enter charges and payments.
• Answer the telephone and verify insurance.
• Collect co-pays and balances.
• Assist nursing staff and perform selected administrative duties.
• May collect patient specimens and take histories and vitals.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with minor procedures.
