Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant for our OBGYN clinic in North Portland. You will float between providers, cover call outs, and deliver patient-focused care in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years MA experience, credentialing, CPR/BLS, and EPIC EMR familiarity. We value excellent attendance, teamwork, and professional communication with patients and staff. Benefits are strong and the culture is supportive.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of MA experience strongly preferred.
• Credentialed MA certification strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior EMR experience strongly preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
• Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Medical Assistant (float) support in clinic.
• Supporting a variety of providers as needed; covering call outs/PTO and supporting team in the day.
• Admin support when not covering a provider.
• Assisting the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
• Assisting with procedures and performing related tests/monitoring.
• Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed.
• Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
• Utilizes EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results, and patient files.
• Update records as needed.
• Cross-trained in multiple areas and/or assigned additional clinic duties.
• Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
