Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN clinic in North Portland. This full-time role supports multiple providers, covers PTO/call outs, and helps ensure a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Certification through AAMA, NCCT or equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire; ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior EMR experience; EPIC experience is a plus.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and team members.
• Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Medical Assistant (float) support in clinic.
• Support providers; cover call outs/PTO and day-to-day team coverage.
• Admin support when not covering a provider.
• Assist staff by collecting information, escorting patients, and preparing for examination.
• Assist with procedures and related tests/monitoring.
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients.
• Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
• Utilize EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results, and patient files.
• Update records as needed.
• Cross-trained in multiple areas and/or additional duties.
• Assist with overall delivery of patient care.
