Job summary

Ezra Medical Center in Brooklyn is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our OB/GYN team and deliver compassionate patient care. You will help welcome patients and assist clinicians during visits.

With responsibilities spanning clinical tasks like vital signs, phlebotomy and EKGs if trained, and administrative duties such as scheduling and referrals, you will contribute to a welcoming, efficient patient experience in a multi-specialty practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certificate or equivalent training/experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Take and document vital signs, height, and weight.
• Prepare patients for OB/GYN examinations and procedures.
• Provide a welcoming, compassionate experience.
• Assist the provider during examinations and procedures as trained.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms between patients.
• Schedule appointments and follow-up visits; process referrals and prior authorizations.
