Axia Women’s Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to engage patients by phone or in person, triage to appropriate care, document in the EMR, and support clinical staff. The role includes triage, labs, education, and coordination with RNs and physicians within a growing women’s health network.

Applicants must hold PA LPN licensure and CPR certification, with at least 1 year in a medical facility (OB/GYN preferred). Some travel to satellite locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited LPN program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a LPN.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical facility, OB/GYN preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT coding and lab order sets is beneficial.
• eClinicalWorks EMR experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes triage protocols to evaluate health care needs based on signs and symptoms.
• Obtains input from RNs or clinicians to determine the best clinical course.
• Documents patient information in the EMR with accuracy.
• Pulls labs and imaging, adds to EMR, and discusses results with clinicians.
• Assists with medication refill requests under supervision.
• Provides patient education on follow-ups, medications, and therapies.
• Assists with phone triage under RN or clinician supervision.
