Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to support obstetrics and gynecology patients at the 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo, North Dakota. Typical hours are 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with no weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure and/or CMA certification as required for position.
• LPN: North Dakota license upon hire; Minnesota LPN license within 3 months of hire.
• CMA: CMA registration or certification; must become certified within 1 year of hire; MAIII registration within 60 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in ambulatory and/or home care settings.
• Performs identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Cares for patients from newborn to elderly as per age-related guidelines.
